* Technical Description *



A new vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Windows XP SP2, it can be exploited by attackers or worms to bypass certain security features. This issue is due to several errors in the heap protection/Data Execution Prevention (DEP) feature included with XP SP2 and designed to protect systems against malicious code execution, which may lead to arbitrary memory region write access (smaller or equal to 1016 bytes), and DEP bypass.
